NZ Culture

Modesty: Titles are unimportant and generally regarded as elitist

Informality: Strongly egalitarian, no pretense, casual, relaxed dress code. ( may be seen as insensitive to protocol, discrespectful )

Fairness: Inherent dislike of male chauvinism; genders are treated alike.

Restraint: Behind the friendly face lies a reserved manner. Friendships take a long time to form due to social caution

Resourcefulness: Taking pride in giving something a go. Belief that something can be done with very little

Earthy: Very practical do it yourself culture
