Windows server 2012 Group Policy Setting

Environment
A. Domain Controller: Windows server 2012
B. Client: Windows 8
 
1. In server manager of windows server 2012, go to the Group Policy Management
2. Create a new Group Policy
3. Set the related Group / User
4. Right click the Group Policy, click the edit
5. Set the rules
Example of policies
a. Hide the driver C
User Configuration\Policies\Administrator Templates\Windows Components\File Explorer\Hide these specified devices in My Computer
 
b. Prohibit control panel
User Configuration\Policies\Administrator Templates\Control Panel\Prohibit access to Control Panel and PC settings
 
c. Prohibit command
User Configuration\Policies\Administrator Templates\Systems\Prevent access to the command prompt
 
d. Prohibit regedit
User Configuration\Policies\Administrator Templates\Systems\Prevent access to regedit editing tools
 
e. Prohibit network setting
User Configuration\Policies\Administrator Templates\Network\Network Connections\Prohibit access to properties of a LAN connection
User Configuration\Policies\Administrator Templates\Network\Network Connections\Prohibit access to the New Connection Wizard
