Download install media from www.oracle.com

upload to RHEL system /tmp

unzip the media

set hostname as 12C (/etc/hosts; /etc/sysconfig/network)

Install packages

Change configuration files

1. /etc/sysctl.conf

Add following context

net.core.rmem_max = 4194304

2. Run command /sbin/sysctl -p

3. /etc/security/limits.conf

Add following context

oracle   soft   nofile    1024

oracle   hard   nofile    65536

oracle   soft   nproc    2047

oracle   hard   nproc    16384

oracle   soft   stack    10240

oracle   hard   stack    32768

4. Create user and group

groupadd -g oinstall

groupadd -g dba

groupadd -g oper
useradd -g oinstall -G dba oper oracle

5. Set password of Oracle

passwd oracle

6. Close selinux, firewall

7. Create directory

mkdir -p /u01/app/oracle/product/12.1.0/db_1

chown -R oracle:oinstall /u01

chmod -R 775 /u01

8. Change owner of /tmp/database folder

cd /tmp

chown -R oracle:oinstall database

8. xhost+

9. change profile

su - oracle

Add following context into /home/oracle/.bash_profile

export CLASSPATH=$ORACLE_HOME/jlib:$ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/jlib

10. start install

xhost +

DISPLAY=<ip address>:0.0(如果本机装数据，输入此IP)

su - oracle

cd /tmp/database

./runInstaller
